HD50138, V743 Mon est une étoile B[e]. c'est à dire une étoile de type spectral B, ici B9e, mais avec des raies interdites que l'on rencontre dans les spectres de milieux dilués et chauds comme les nébuleuses. Cette étoile reste d'une nature encore inconnue malgré sa relativement brillance, magnitude 6.6 et est largement à la portée de la spectroscopie amateur. Elle fait partie du catalogue Bess.

Marcelo FERNANDES BORGES est le principal astrophysicien impliqué dans l'étude de cette étoile. Accompagnée d'un environement circumstellaire complexe, peu de raies de son spectre sont photosphériques, cette étoile présente aussi des pulsations dans les raies de la partie bleu de son spectre et en h alpha.

Une campagne d'observation et un nouveau projet collaboratif est proposé par Marcelo, qui est fortement intéressé par un suivis spectrocopique régulier du comportement des raies non photosphériques du domaine optique, h alpha en premier. Enfin, si possible une mise en évidence des pulsations de l'étoile dans la partie bleu du spectre (HeI 4026A, SiII 4128A-4131A) par des poses courtes, limitées à 20 min, peut être tenté mais semble trés difficle.

Les spectres sont à déposer dans Bess, les buts astrophysiques de cette nouvelle collaboration seront précisés par Marcelo bientôt.

HD50138, V743 Mon is a B[e] star. This is a star of spectral type B, here B9e, but with forbidden lines which we meet in spectra of diluted and warm environments as nebulas. This star stays of a still unknown nature in spite of its relatively shine, magnitude 6.6 and is widely within the reach of amateur spectroscopy. It is included in the Bess catalog.

Marcelo FERNANDES BORGES is the main astrophysicist involved in the study of this star. Accompanied with a complex circumstellar environement, few lines of its spectra are photospherical. This star also presents pulsations in several blue and h alpha lines.

A campaign of observation and a new collaborative project is proposed by Marcelo, who is strongly interested in one followed regular spectrocopic survey of the behavior of the not photospherical lines of the optical domain, h alpha first. Finally, if possible a revealing of the pulsations of the star in the blue part of the spectra (HeI 4026A, SiII 4128A-4131A) by short exposures, limited to 20 min, can be tried but seems to be very difficult.

Spectra have to be send to Bess database, the multiples astrophysical purposes of this new collaboration will be specified by Marcelo.
